Argos was the pick of the B-litter. I had a performance/conformation home lined up for him and it fell through. He was too nice to go to a pet home so I asked my daughter if she would like a puppy. Krista said yes! We haven't had a boy dog in the house over 20 years! Argos is best buddies with my Gordon Setter, Jasmine. They are only a year apart and have the same philosophy in life- "play hard"! Krista and Argos have been taking puppy classes and learning how to be a respectful young puppy.
2026
March- Argos went to the Louisville, KY cluster with Steve and Michelle M (Miko's DSF). He came back with 11 points. 3 3-point majors by going Best of Winners and 2 singles by going Winner's Dog. He was just barely 6 months old. I decided to not show him in AKC until the 1st Danish-Swedish Farmdog National Specialty in August 2026.
June- Deb Ferrel and I took Lena, Beatrice, and Argos to a UKC show. Lena needed a few points to finish her CH. The puppies each got a competition win and Best of Breed and Lena finished!
August- August 14 was the very FIRST Danish-Swedish Farmdog National Specialty. There were around 63 dogs entered. Argos was Best of Opposite Sex in puppy sweepstakes, won the puppy bred-by class, was Reserve Winner's Dog, and Best Best-By Exhibitor. Monday, August 17, at the supported entry show he was Winner's Dog for 2 points. He only needs 2 points to become a Champion!
